Ceremonial Opening

The King’s Benediction

Spoken before the first performer is invited on stage.

Welcome, family, guests, judges, dreamers, and icons of the night. May every voice arrive with courage, may every act be met with honor, and may this stage receive talent with fairness, laughter, wonder, and fire. Let the nervous become radiant, let the prepared become unforgettable, and let the room remember that greatness can wear many forms. Tonight we gather in black and gold, under the banner of Hellians’ Paradise, to witness courage made visible. May the show begin in unity, move in excellence, and end in celebration. Amen to the stage, amen to the artists, and amen to the moment.

Show Program

How the Night Moves

1. Opening BenedictionThe King’s Benediction opens the show before the first act is called.
2. Performer InvitationEach act is announced, invited on stage, and given their performance window. If the act is present but not ready, they may request a skip and be called again after the next ready performer.
3. PerformanceThe performer delivers their act for the scheduled program slot.
4. CommentaryHosts and announcers briefly commentate after the act has finished.
5. Judge ScoringEach judge gives one rating, briefly explains why, and the combined score is revealed aloud.
6. Return to AudienceThe performer is moved back to the audience and the next act is invited up.
7. IntermissionAfter the first 16 acts, the show pauses for intermission before resuming.
8. Winner ConfirmationAfter the winners are chosen, the sponsor asks if the winner received their funds.
9. June 27 Sign-Up CallHosts and announcers invite stage and audience members to sign up for the June 27 talent show.
10. Closing BenedictionThe night ends in gratitude, recognition, and the King’s final blessing.
Judging Method

How Performers Are Rated

Before or near the start of the competition, the judges briefly explain how they rate a performer and why. Each judge gives one score per act and briefly states the reason for that number. Those three ratings are then combined into one overall score and announced aloud before the next act is called.

Group B Late Arrival: If a performer from Group B arrives late, they may still be given a chance to perform before the last act of the night.

Wildcard Entry

When a Wild Card Can Enter

Ceremonial Closing

The King’s Closing Benediction

Spoken after the winners are announced, the audience is thanked, and the June 27 sign-up call is made.

To every performer, every judge, every voice in the crowd, and every heart that dared to show up tonight, thank you. Thank you for bringing your talent, your nerves, your courage, your wildness, your softness, and your spark. May every act that touched this stage leave with more confidence than it arrived with. May every winner carry their moment with grace, and may every artist leave knowing they were seen. Let the memory of this night travel forward into June 27 and beyond, brighter than applause and steadier than fear. We close this Empire of Icons in gratitude, in laughter, in honor, and in blessing. May the house stay full, may the talent stay rising, and may the spirit of Hellians’ Paradise keep calling greatness to the mic. Amen.
